Dr. Doug McInnis earned his D.V.M. in 1987 from Oregon and Washington State Universities College of Veterinary Medicine.  He is a past-President of the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association of which he has been a member since receiving his doctorate.  Locally, Dr. McInnis is very active in the community as a member and past president of both the Klamath-Lake Veterinary Medical Association and the Animal Emergency Service. He also served on the Board of Directors and was Vice President of the Klamath Humane Society.  Dr. McInnis continues to donate many services including free spays and neuters of dogs and cats waiting for adoption at the Humane Society.  In the business arena Dr. McInnis is a member of the Rotary Club of Klamath County where he has served as President, Treasurer and on the Board of Directors.  Dr. McInnis is very dedicated to his profession and often fosters that dedication for local high school students interested in the veterinary field, encourages staff to pursue continuing education & career advancement and provide preceptorships and mentorship to veterinary students.

Dr. Rebecca Fujishin (Dr. Becky for short) earned her D.V.M. in 1985 from Oregon and Washington State Universities College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Becky has been in practice in the Klamath Basin for over 15 years.  She joined the West Ridge team in 1999 and generally works at our East Ridge office.  Dr. Becky is an active member of Klamath-Lake Veterinary Medical Association, The Oregon Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is a past member of the Humane Society Board of Directors.  Currently Dr. Becky is an active member and volunteer with numerous 4-H programs, the Henley High School Equestrian Team and the High Desert Trail Riders.

Dr. Carolyn Whitaker earned her D.V.M. in 2002 from the University of California, Davis College of Veterinary Medicine with an interest in large animal medicine. She has been in Klamath County since graduation and joined East Ridge in October of 2006. When she is not working she is busy with her husband and two young daughters at their home in Bonanza, where they have a variety of animals including horses, cats and a dog. They also keep very busy with their herd of Boer meat goats. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and American Association of Bovine Practioners. She welcomes any high school students interested in large animal veterinary medicine to ride along.

Dr. Allison Rogers joined the staff of West Ridge on June 10, 2007. Dr. Rogers grew up on a small “hobby farm” outside of Dayton, OH, where she developed a love for animals and rural life. She received her B.S. in Biology from Denison University in 2003 and her DVM from The Ohio State University in 2007. (Go Bucks!) Her husband Scott is a physician in the family medicine residency program at Sky Lakes Medical Center. Allison enjoys traveling, reading, hiking geocaching and being ignored by her two black cats. Since arriving in town she has become involved with the Klamath Basin Habitat for Humanity and organized a residents and spouses book club. She is thoroughly enjoying her new profession, and especially values the many new relationships she has…

Deana Chambers joined our staff in September of 2002.  She is a licensed veterinary technician and serves as our head technician and office manager. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years.  Deana is an active member of the KBHA and volunteers time for a local horse 4-H group.

Kim Pratt grew up in Southern Oregon, and has always been an avid animal lover. Her family always had a few horses, a couple of dogs and they fed all the cats in the neighborhood. She started her veterinary technician career in 1999, when she began working for a practice in Grants Pass. After four years of on the job training she challenged the Oregon Veterinary Board and took the test to become a licensed Vet Tech. After long hours of studying she passed and then made a life changing decision to go back to school. She moved to Klamath Falls to pursue a career as a dental hygienist, and obtain a bachelor's degree from OIT. She was blessed to find a job working at East Ridge and West Ridge Animal Clinics. She hopes that her dental hygiene career will improve her skills as a Vet Tech, and is looking forward to the future.

Jaclyn Schock joined the West Ridge staff in the fall of 2003. She earned her Veterinary Technician license in March 2008. She received her certification in radiology in September of 2007. She is also taking numerous classes to help sharpen her knowledge of veterinary medicine. She is an active member of KBHA and involved in 4-H functions. She spends her spare time studying and helping her kids learn how to ride horses and dirtbikes. She also looks forward to bow-hunting deer and elk every year. Her goal is to be an asset to the doctors and staff here at West Ridge Animal Clinic.

Amy Swindler joined our staff in 2002. She is working towards her veterinary technician certification and is a certified radiology technician. She currently works primarily at our East Ridge office. She is a coach for the Klamath County 4-H horse judging and hippology teams as well as a horse resource leader.
